Your Kodak Lens options
As the name suggests, these lenses are for those of us that require only one prescription to correct their vision. They have the same vision correction over the whole lens.
Kodak Single Vision Lenses are available in a choice of materials from conventional plastic through to 1.74. These can be enhanced with many different options from anti-reflection coatings to fast-reacting sun lenses. Whatever your lifestyle, we will make a lens for you.
Many Kodak Single Vision Lenses have the added advantage of having an aspheric design. In an aspheric design, the lenses have flatter curves. This means they do not bulge out of the frame as much as regular lenses. The side profile of aspheric lenses is thinner, which greatly enhances the appearance of finished spectacles. They also give enhanced overall vision especially in higher prescriptions.

Kodak Digital Single Vision Lenses
Made using the very latest digital surfacing technology, Kodak Digital Single Vision Lenses not only provide you with the best high definition vision but are also 12% flatter and 20% thinner than non-digital signel vision lenses.
Clear lenses
Much lighter and safer than traditional glass lenses, all Kodak Lenses are now produced from plastic materials and most come with a scratch resistant coating as standard.
Modern chemistry has allowed us to develop new plastic materials and designs resulting in thinner and lighter lenses. Better looking and more comfortable to wear.
Made from polycarbonate, these lenses are impact resistant and ten times stronger than standard plastic making them ideal for sports, children, safety glasses and rimless frames.
Sun lenses
A choice of five great colours and tinting depths means that you can have a different look for each mood. From deep sunglasses tints to lighter cosmetic tints, the colour can be the same depth all over the lens or can be graduated from dark at the top to clear at the bottom of the lens. Tints can be further enhanced with 100% UV protection.
Available in five fashionable colours these are the ultimate in sun protection. The polarised function virtually eliminates glare, making them perfect for water activities, driving or winter sports.
A classic photochromic lens. When you are outside in the sun they are dark and they fade to clear when you return indoors. Available in a choice of grey or brown, and made of 1.56 Thin & Lite material so up to 30% thinner and 32% lighter than standard lenses, with RLX Plus®, the world’s most scratch resistant plastic lens surface included as standard.
Most people realise the importance of protecting their skin when out in the sun, but it is just as important that your eyes are protected too. We all want our sunglasses to look good but equally important are their performance. You should always check the level of UV protection that your sunglasses offer. All Kodak Sun Lenses offer at least 99% protection.
